A group of seven bushwalkers reported missing overnight in the New South Wales Blue Mountains has made contact with emergency service workers.
The alarm was raised when the five men and two women failed to return from the Golden Stairs trail in Katoomba on Sunday.
The group sent a text message this morning saying they were safe and well and had spent the night in a cave.
